How do I prepare for my first class?

  • The room is kept at 105 degrees and 40% humidity, so be prepared to sweat!
  • Come to class on an empty stomach. Do not eat for 3 hours before class. If you must eat, fruit or a granola bar is best.
  • Be well hydrated before class. As you practice, you will want to drink at least 3 liters of water a day.
  • Wear light clothing such as a sports bra and shorts. Shorts for men. Try to avoid sweats or baggy clothing. Be comfortable.
  • Bring a yoga mat, a beach towel and a liter of water. If you forget, we have these for rent and sale at the studio. Please arrive at the studio not later than 10 minutes before your first class.
