How is Bikram Yoga different?

  • Bikram’s Beginning Yoga Class is a specific, systematic series of 26 postures (asana) and 2 breathing exercises (pranayama). They are practiced in a specific order to open up your joints, tissue and muscles, one- by- one. This order minimizes risk of injury.
  • Your Bikram Yoga teachers are the only certified Bikram instructors in the state of South Carolina. Each teacher has had personalized instruction from Bikram Choudhury, and has passed his rigorous standards of teaching, practice, and yoga theory.
