If you are a woman and you have had children, you know how a woman's body suffers in the process of and after having our beautiful babies:
Nine months of pregnancy carrying extra weight concentrated in the front of your body Giving birth Breastfeeding every couple of hours including through the night. Sometimes having to stay in one fixed position for awhile creating lots of tension in that area Caring for baby 24 hours a day and not having nearly enough time for ourselves as we really need Taking care of the house Feeding, cleaning up after toddlers and making sure they are entertained and happy If you have more than one child, quadruple the amount of work of the the above mentioned items And you will accomplish all of the above on 4-hours of sleep or less. Being a mom is a lot of work; being a mom is the hardest job in the world. Wonderful work. Rewarding like no other. Not to mention it makes you become a much better person. But if you don't take the time to look after yourself, it can take a huge toll on your body and mind. You now have a lot more items that must be on your priority list than you did before you had children, and the top ten priorities might not include you at all. Though it is hard to do, you have to put yourself at the top of your list in order to be able to care for your family well and accomplish your dreams. For most women, having a baby makes it easier to carry more fat around specific areas, such as the belly and arms, for example. There is also a lot of tension that builds up in your muscles and in your mind. If you have the commitment to go to a Bikram yoga class everyday, or at least 5 days per week, you will become a completely changed person. Not only will your body become super fit and beautiful, if you have extra weight and fat to lose, you will see your body changing right before your eyes ( for an eating plan check out: The 4-hour body by Tim Ferris ). You will have a clear mind, you will find it much easier to stay in the present moment and enjoy life to the fullest. You will sleep, oh so much deeper, and will, consequently, need less sleep. What is Bikram Yoga? Bikram yoga was created by Bikram Choudhury. He developed this form of yoga after a weightlifting accident injured his knee and he was told he would never walk again. Six months later, after many yoga sessions, his knee was totally recovered. This form of yoga consists of 26 postures that must be done in a specific order for a straight 90 minutes inside a studio heated to ~105 F. It works you from the inside out down to the cellular level, and it completely changes the construction of your body. Yes, it is a hard class to go through and you have to get to that studio everyday with the clear intention to improve yourself through those hot 90 minutes. But one thing is for sure. When you walk out of that Bikram hot yoga class, you will feel like a million bucks. You will feel as if you are walking on clouds filled with gold and your life will feel like the best thing that ever happened to you. You will move easier, smile more, and have so much energy that you will not know what to do with it. After a few days, you will feel your body and soul becoming younger and younger by the minute. It doesn't matter if you have never done yoga before. And it doesn't matter that you are not flexible. And it doesn't matter.......(plug-in any excuse your mind makes up). As Bikram himself said "It's never too late, it's never too bad, and you're never too old or too sick to start from scratch once again." Here are some other benefits of Bikram hot yoga: Elimination of toxins from your body Increase in the amount of cells that fight infection, therefore, making your immune system very strong Increase in mental strength and focus Significant release of mental and physical stress Much easier weight loss due to warmed muscles which burn fat a lot more efficiently Awesome toning and slimming effects on your body Improves the functioning of every single organ, nerve, tendon, gland, and muscle in your body. Amazing increase in flexibility and range of motion in all directions Prevents and improves chronic illnesses. And so much more... Please take your time to learn more about this wonderful exercise and make the commitment to do it. You will not regret it.
